Sangamon Area Special Education District (SASED)
The Auburn district is a member of the Sangamon Area Special Education District (SASED). SASED provides educational services for students with disabilities. The following link takes you to the SASED website.
Children who are eligible to receive special education and related service may have specific related services included in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Related services are added to an IEP if the IEP team determines that the specific related service is necessary in order for the child to benefit from his or her special education program. Illinois Public Act 101-0515 requires local education agencies to make related service logs that record the type and minutes of related services administered under a child’s IEP. Copies of related service logs will be available upon request from parents or guardians at the annual review of their child’s IEP.
