Dear Kindergarten Family,
Next week, we will learn about the letters Uu-Yy. We will be continuing our Nursery Rhyme unit with fun and educational activities! We have been practicing Daily 5 stations for literacy. Some areas we practice daily are Read to Self, Read to Someone, Listen to Reading, and Work on Writing. Next week, we will add Word Work. Feel free to ask your child about what they do during these rotations. J Please check your child’s folder and empty it every night.
Show and Share: Next week’s show and share is something yellow.
Snacks: Snack calendar went home. Please let your child’s teacher know if you don’t have it.
Homework Calendars: September Homework Calendars are due on October 1. Your child needs to complete 12-21 of the homework days with your initials in the box for a prize.
