HI! I am the Title I Reading Teacher at Auburn Middle School. I started teaching in the Virden School District in 1988. I taught special education in grades 3-5 for almost twenty years. In 2018, I had the amazing opportunity to come to Auburn and begin my role in Title I Reading, which I absolutely LOVE. I am blessed to be part of such a wonderful school district. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I also have a Master’s Degree in Reading from Benedictine University. I grew up on a farm in Virginia, Illinois. I have lived here in Auburn since marrying my husband in 2000. We have three boys that are very involved in sports. We are always on the go!
