Mrs. Copple's Middle School P.E. Fun and Facts Page

by Paulette Copple

Welcome to my website where you'll find information about things happening in the gym. This website provides an opportunity to communicate and connect. I encourage you to visit often.  I will do my best to update my site so that information stays current.

About Mrs. Copple
I grew up in Centralia, IL where I graduated from CTHS, home of the Centralia Orphans, the "winningest" high school basketball team in the nationBasketball. We went to State 3 out of 4 years when I was in high school. Now there's a clue to the year I graduated. Any guesses which year that might have been? Hint: After high school I graduated from Millikin University and began my teaching career at Macon High School, then Mt. Zion High School, where I taught Physical Education and Driver's Education. Along the road to Auburn I have raised a daughter, Mrs. Hemberger, who teaches 4th grade at Auburn Middle School and a son, who is a plumbing contractor. I have always been interested in lots of different things and that led me to owning my own business, a children's clothing store, becoming a Realtor, taking law courses and becoming a paralegal, working on a Air Force base in South Dakota doing air sampling for an asbestos removal company, and most bizarre of all, being an over-the-road 18 wheeler truck driver, hauling loads from Florida to California and back again. My family often wondered what I would become when I grew up. Now I most enjoy teaching P. E. during the school year. I also enjoy watching my granddaughters, Alex and Kristina, show their horses, and visiting with my older granddaughters, Ashley, a student at Eastern Illinois University, and Sarah and her daughter, Adi, who made me a great grandmother, along with riding my 4 wheeler in the mountains of Colorado in the summer.
