Yearbook Q's

Here are answer to a few frequent questions that I receive about the yearbook.

Q: When do the yearbooks come in?

A: Usually they arrive near the end of September. I will notify students when we will be passing them out. I will also contact the newspaper so that they can publish when they may be picked up.

Q: How do I pick up my yearbook if I have graduated or moved?

A: You can have someone else pick up your yearbook for you or you may come in and pick it up in the high school office. We normally do not mail yearbooks.

Q: I forgot to order a yearbook for my child, can I still get one?

A: If there are extra copies I will put it in the announcements. We do not know if there will be extras and if so, how many we will have until we receive our books. Extra copies are sold on a first come, first serve basis. I'm sorry but we do not create a waiting list.

Q: How long are yearbooks on sale?

A: We sell the yearbooks starting a registration until the middle of March normally. I have to send in numbers to our publishing plant so once we set a final date, I'm sorry, but we can't take any more orders. Please know however that the prices change over the course of the year. The sooner you purchase one, the cheaper it will be!

Q: Do you have any older yearbooks?

A: Yes we have some, but it depends on what year(s) you want. We do not have every year. Please let me know what year you are interested in and let me see if we have any and I will be glad to sell them to you.

Q: Do you have to have all of your Senior Pictures taken with the school photographer?

A: No, for yearbook purposes we need all Seniors to have their pictures taken with our photographer. You do not have to choose them to take all of your pictures. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask me. Please be aware that all Senior pages - excluding graduation and Senior trip - are shipped to our publisher before Finals for 1st semester.

Q: Can I place an Ad in the yearbook for my son/daughter that will be graduating?

A: Yes. We will send out information about Senior Ads in January. If you have questions once we send you the information, please feel free to contact me and I will try to help answer your questions. Please note, we send this information out in January and ads are due at the end of February. If you miss the deadline, please contact me and I can see if we still have any room available for another ad.

Q: When does my Senior need to turn in his/her Senior Pictures and Baby Pictures for the yearbook?

A: The date varies slightly every year due to our deadlines with our publisher. We let the Seniors know several weeks in advance along with giving them many reminders up until the due date. If you need to know the specific date and requirements for this year, please contact me. A general rule, is that all Senior Information, pictures (Senior or baby) need to be turned in to me (or taken by our photographer) by the end of October. Please be aware that all Senior pages - excluding graduation - are shipped to our publisher before Finals for 1st semester.
